Today we read a story and then wrote a summary that included the start, build-up, climax, resolution and ending.

We shared our summaries with each other.

We found out which months children at Fieldhead had birthdays.

Fire Service Visit

This afternoon 4 firefighters visited us from the Stanks Fire Station. They taught us how to stay safe around fireworks and bonfires. Afterwards we made posters about what we had learned.

Friday 14th October

Year 5 tackled maths problems from our maths box. They worked co-operatively with each other.

Year 5's attendance has been brilliant so they won a Milkshake Break.  Here they are enjoying themselves immensely!

Summer's here, again!

What a super week of hot, summer weather. Even though the temperature was soaring in the classroom, Year 5 persevered with making their marvellous musical instruments!
