Geography & Science

Science - Finding out how much air there is in different soils. Carefully pouring in water to see how much it can hold.

We noticed air bubbles coming out of the soil.

We tested different soils.

Our results. Can you tell what we found out? Which soil had the most air? How do you know?

Ancient Greece

Today we had an Ancient Greek talk to us about life in his country about 2500 years ago.

Look at these Ancient Greek artefacts.
Can you remember what they are made from and what they are used for?

What could this be?

Hollie dressed as an Ancient Greek.

Joe strikes a piece of steel against a flint stone. Sparks came off it.     These were used to light some linen to start a fire.

In the afternoon we moved to the hall.

Scary Greek soldier!

Who is this Greek soldier?
